Spotlight on Sameer Dahar, non-vocal advocate and author

“The US Autism Association has given Sameer a platform to voice his opinions and contribute to the field of autism knowledge and education through his role as a self-advocate and advisory board member. We are immensely grateful to US Autism Association President Dr. Marlo Payne Thurman, who saw his potential and believed in our son’s unique abilities...when no one else would. Though he is non-vocal with significant sensory-motor challenges, the US Autism Association has valued his autistic perspective, honored his way of being and communicating, and supported our family in his educational and therapeutic journey."
